My major at the University of British Columbia was in mechanical engineering. I then worked in manufacturing as an engineer for 11 years after graduation. Throughout the years I’ve always known that I would not be an engineer for the rest of my life; deep down I knew there was something else more fulfilling for me to do with my life.

A few years ago, by chance, I had my first encounter with acupuncture and TCM; right away, like a lightening bolt, I knew this is what I had been searching for. Seeing people getting better from their illnesses gave me a great sense of joy.

I attended PCU College of Holistic Medicine and graduated in 2015. Since then I have helped numerous people with various conditions by acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Most of the patients found my treatment very relaxing and were surprised that acupuncture can be almost pain-free.

The problem solving skills and critical thinking I learned as an engineer has not gone to waste. Rather, these skills aid me in diagnosing and selecting a proper treatment plan for my patients with a logical approach. ​ I’m a board director of Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and duly registered with College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
